Terms and Conditions
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
At Integrative Massage Therapy, we understand that schedules can change. In order to provide the best service and accommodate all clients, we kindly request adherence to the following cancellation and rescheduling guidelines:
- For massages of 1 hour or less, please provide more than 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule without charge.
- For massages exceeding 1 hour, a notice of more than 48 hours is required for cancellation or rescheduling without charge.
- Cancellations must be made by calling our office at 781.341.3113. If you reach our voicemail, please leave your information. Note that email cancellations are not accepted.
- Cancellations made with less than the required notice will incur a charge of 50% of the service price.
- No-shows or failure to cancel within 20 minutes of the appointment time will also incur a 50% charge of the service price.
- Appointments made within 24 hours are automatically subject to cancellation fees.
- Prepaid appointments that are cancelled will be credited to your account for future use, subject to a credit processing fee if a refund is requested.
Late Arrivals Policy
- We encourage clients to arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork and ensure a prompt start to your session.
- Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to accommodate subsequent appointments. The full service fee will still apply.
Scheduling
- Services are by appointment only. Same-day appointments may be available, but advance booking is strongly recommended to secure your preferred time.
- First-time clients are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete a brief health intake form.
Cleanliness and Etiquette
- Please ensure personal cleanliness prior to your appointment as showers are not available on-site.
We request the avoidance of strong perfumes or cologne to maintain a comfortable environment for all clients. - You may engage in conversation with your therapist during your session or prefer silence; your therapist will respect your choice.
- During your session, communication may be necessary for adjustments, feedback on pressure, or to explain findings.
Professionalism
Our services are strictly professional and therapeutic. Any sexual conduct or advances will result in immediate termination of the session, full payment will be required, and the client will be asked not to return.
Age Requirement
Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who must sign a waiver. Clients between 16-18 require a signed waiver and may not need accompaniment, unless requested by the therapist.
Payment
Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express).
Insurance
Our services are non-medical and therapeutic. We do not interact directly with insurance companies. Any insurance communication is the responsibility of the client.
Refunds
Prepaid services that are cancelled according to our policy will be credited to your account for future use, with no expiration.
